Distracted Driving Again….
Again Distracted driving is a number one topic. Couple of drivers have been given warnings for Texting or Using the Phone While Driving. This is a serious violation even if a ticket is not issued. A warning alone can get 30 points you CSA record. Warnings really carry the weight a citation carries with no due process to contest the warning. Any violations of the “Hand’s Free” law can and will result in termination of your employment. Not only is this very unsafe but could result in jail time if you were to hurt someone in the process. It only takes a second to miss that vehicle that stopped, that vehicle, that is filled with a family. Don’t risk it. If you need to sent a text use the voice transcription or pull over at a safe location. If you need to take a call while driving, the use of a Bluetooth headset will help you to remain compliant and safe with both hands on the wheel. Two of the better headset I have used are the BlueParrott B550-XT and BlueParrott B450-XT
